This song is about how people look at their life differently all through their life as they are growing. I chose to write the life path of this song as one that I think many kids take, where they wonder what life is as a child, think they figured it out as a teen, and get a rude awakening coming into adulthood. I skipped the part, the longest part that seems to go by in a flash, that 30-40 year period were most people are out working in the world. I finish the song with the adult looking back at life in a similar fashion as the child they were looked at life. I think it is funny, not funny ha-ha but funny weird, that people wonder about life more when they are very young or very old.
