john lord

one of the most iconic of keyboard players, John Lord has passed away.

i am really saddened as Deep Purple was one of my favourite bands.

he was 71 and died of cancer.. so sad.

i'm sure if there is a heaven, he will be rocking away for eternity

RIP John Lord

Re: john lord

Really sorry to hear this he was a great keyboard player and composer.
Loved Deep Purple back in the day..
Jon Lord also composed a lot of what would be regarded as Classical music in his later life all good..
RIP. Jon.

Re: john lord

FYI, deep purple were still recording and touring up until a few years ago, they may still be, sadly without john
