Topic: C+/G# chord

Looking for the finger pattern for this chord. Noticed it in the Stairway to Heaven song. Also are there any variations to this chord?

Re: C+/G# chord

Play a bar C position at the 4th fret include the 6th string or capo the 1st fret play a normal C and cover the low sting with your 3rd finger there are a few other ways if you can play up the neck these are altered chord positions smile

Re: C+/G# chord

Russell sounds like you are describing a C# over G#, not a C augmented over G#. I have no idea how the chord is played in the song (tabs might help) but to play a C augmented you substitute out the 5 of the chord (G) for a #5 (G#).
