Topic: Need a hardshell case

I am looking for a hardshell case for my acoustic guitar.  It is a Washburn D10S.  I currently have a padded gig bag, but I travel frequently (by air) and I would really like more protection.  Found a Washburn hardshell case online for $89.00 that is really nice, but trying to save a little $$$$.  Any suggestions, or does anyone have one they want to unload?

Hello SkyDad3 - one possibility might be pawnshops.  Every city has at least one pawnshop that stocks music gear.  You might be able to pick up a 'veteran' case for cheap?  Worth a look see.

Another possibility is a music emporium. Some will only sell new gear but others will take used equipment in part exchange which they also need to sell. So do not dismiss your local guitar shops.

$89 is a good price for a good hard case. A really good case for Air Travel would cost a lot more than that. If you get one thats a hard plastic or aluminum, do a safety wrap with Duct tape. Case Locks are really not made very well.
