Topic: Disney's Frozen: Let it go

Hello all I've been a member of this site for quite sometime now and I've love every minute of it. There are some really great songs here. In spite of being here a long as I have I've never actually contributed, which brings me to the next topic, after listening to the song countless times ( with my little girl singing) I've come up with my own interpretation of the song. Once i figure out how to get it uploaded it'll be there for all to see, learn, and have loads of fun with the family as I have. Thank Chordie for being a phenomenal site!!!!

Re: Disney's Frozen: Let it go

Welcome to the forums RJ!

You've been around for awhile, but I feel I must remind you that Chordie is not a hosting site..... so you might have a little bit of a time trying to upload your version of the tune.  Sadly it would likely be a violation of somebody's copyright to just toss it in in the songwriting section, so you'd be advised to try to get it onto something like tabs911 or somesuch.  My best advise is to do a video cover with the chords of your version on youtube and link to it from here. That way nobody's feelings get hurt and Admin doesn't have to deal with the nasty memos from the MPAA and threats of Legal action spawned from them.

Thanks for introducing yourself and by all means don't be a stranger.  There is a varied and vibrant community of like minded folks hanging around here, that I'm sure welcome your thoughts and contributions.

Welcome again & Take Care;

Re: Disney's Frozen: Let it go

Don't know what part of "All over" you're at, but we seem to be hanging out later than most of the population.  Must be a West Coast kind of thing.  Nice to have company though.

My crowd is kind of  a techie group so haggling over access isn't much of a problem, but we do have to deal with the other distractions of daily life, which leaves the later hours free for guitar playing & Spam Slamming here on the Chordie site.

Looking forward to your video so by all means post a link when you get it up, also checked out your poetry post and left you a comment.

Welcome;
Doug

Re: Disney's Frozen: Let it go

Welcome into the forums RJ!  Doug gave some great info, and fyi, he is a very valuable source of techie info along with tons of guitar help!  Thats what the forums are about and what makes rhe members here so highly valued!  My autistic 7 year old sings all the Frozen songs constantly.  I found a few versions online, and have one with simple chords that I play for her.  I look forward to hearing and learning your version.  Guitar tutorials of songs are very popular on youtube, and it seems there are always tins a different ways to go about songs.   Again, looking dorward to yours!
