Topic: friends of

Just discovered friends of chordie, didn't know it existed until today, but i couldn't seem to get all of the songs to play for some reason. However i did manage to listen to Old Doll's song and it was beautiful, and what a lovely voice. You are so talented Old Doll, i admire you.
I wish i could have listened to the others on there. Any how, you have gained a fan!       Hopeful. ( Christine. )

Hi Hopeful,

I am glad you found Friends of Chordie. I started it especially for Chordie members who have no where to post their songs and I have to agree with you about Old Doll's song it is absolutely delightful.

Sorry you have had a problem listening to the other songs. I went just now and I have been able to listen to them all so I do not think there is a problem there. No doubt some one will post a message if there is.

Take care,

Roger

Re: friends of

I listened to the songs when i came home from work last night ( doing day shifts now as well as nights ). I had liked Old Doll's song so much when i had heard it before i went to work that it was going round in my head when i was on duty so felt i had to listen to it again when i got home.
I am surprised that James, badeye, and all the other song writers haven't put their songs on there, would love to hear them.

Re: friends of

Hi Christine,

James, Jeff (Jets60) and  Mark (Bud_wiser) have all had songs posted there previously. Jeff and Mark now have their own MySpace sites and I think James is planning to have one shortly.

Badeye is a different kettle of fish, we keep trying to bully and cajole him into recording some of his songs but he is reluctant. Pehaps you can help presuade him?

Here are the links to Jeff's and Mark's sites.

Jeff's URL:http://www.myspace.com/stilljeffgilpin

Mark's URL:http://www.myspace.com/marksmoosic

Maybe others will post their links so you can listen to their songs too?

Roger Guppy had the foresight to set this page up several months ago.  Since then it has beena wonderful venue for several of the participants in the Songwriting forum.
