Topic: Happy Independence Day!

Warm wishes to all of the Chordians from the USA, and this celebration of the American "Declaration of Independence" adopted on July 4, 1776.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

These are great principles to base a nation on ... any nation. Many happy returns to y'all!

  I agree with you UJB.  I always wonder how those across the pond feel about our shouting out about our Happy Independence Day, when it's technically independence from your own country.  On the other hand, I look occasionally at the issues we have over here and think, "nah, they're probably glad to be rid of us" - LOL!  Hey, just as Canada is like a "brother to the North", I consider England like a "Great Grandma"  smile

Got real noisy here last night,I thought we were in a war zone,alot of not legal stuff out there. This year that danger as we are all dry,if you got caught you have too pay  $1500.00 fine for using them.

Banjo player didn't show yesterday, so I opted to leave the Jasmine in the car. Unfortunately, I can't remember what to play unless I have the words/chords right in front of me or someone calls out the changes.
