Topic: One Step Closer!

As most of you know I have been living in a Craig's List find apt for the last , mmm what now, 6 months.  I spent last week on and off with a realtor and yesterday (May 1st) morning I submitted a bid.  I gave up on a 2 car garage for a 1 car, and I dont have  much yard, but at the prices around here,, I think I can live with it.

Another bid was put in right behind mine for more money actually, yet (if I am to take my agents word) He is one hell of a salesman! They went with with my offer as their agent believed my ability to actually carry it all through was a better deal, and it was a Navy family who's wife was retiring.  He said they wanted to keep things in the navy family.  So once the money is actually a go,, I should have a house by the time Carla and the Dogs are ready to come to town.  was telling the kids tonight that we had a house.  Mine is due to close on the 18th, and in may ( Labor day)  I will be heading to TX  to help with that drive.

didnt want to fill up with stock pics but it has a BIG basement! and a office that I just see acoustic foam on the walls of,  in main room a drum set in the corner, and my amps and stuff  and still room for some other toys smile
I have a inspection on Wednesday. so I will take real pics then.

I have the chain saw and back-up weed whacker ready to roll.   You have to front for the two-stroke gas, though.  smile

Let's see, you have Dogs, and a creek in the back yard...... AND (I'm guessing) White Carpeting !!!? wink

Really we have 2 (a Golden & a Lab), sometimes 3 Acres doesn't seem enough.... until it's time to "weed-whack" the fenceline.  Looks like a nice place to live !

Yep me too! we have some wrinkles  happening in the sale of our house in TX,  and its causing some better than mild discomfort to our plans.  We are just trying to ride it out and maybe find a back up offer on our house

Its official, 830 AM on the 16th we will sign closing documents on the house.  even better news, the repo to teh left of us has been bought and being gutted.  Any upgrade in the neighborhood means my value has just increased!  the dogs are freaked out,  The lady at the kennel says Moose wont come to her unless she gets his brother first when she takes them out to the free run yard.  the others are doing pretty good.  We miss our kids and our animals.  Ready to get this over with!

We are official!  Spent the first night in the house yesterday!  Movers tomorrow, internet,,, well the 24th, but I can hit a wifi hotspot, really cool thing around here. hit it right from home!
The dogs are happy as can be, today the cats were supposed to come home, so curious about how they are reacting.  Once everything is set up ill post pics.
