Topic: New Nickname?

Someone here (I won't say the name) has begun calling me "Opie" (from the Andy Griffith Show). I don't know where they came up with that --- my writing style, must be ---- but what do you guys think? "Opie" or "Strummerboy"?

I always liked ol' "Ope" (what Barney and Andy used to call him for short) and thought he had the best lines written for him in this comedy and I don't mind having the name at all. smile

Just curious: Does the Andy Griffith Show play in New Zealand, Australia and..... Portugal?

Thanks

Re: New Nickname?

Okay, it was my buddy dino, whom I HONOR as the first person to ever welcome me here. So am I "Opie" or who?

Dino, you ROCK, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks so!

Re: New Nickname?

if it's Opie - you'll have to move to Mayberry NC

Re: New Nickname?

Dondra says to tell you she'd rather be "Helen Crump", TIG. She says she can't pitch her voice as high as Aunt Bea and anyway she says she "ain't" that old. Yet. smile smile smile

I'll let YOU explain to "She Who Must Be Obeyed".  HAHA! smile
