Ok, I can not complain or denigh that the last year and a half has been , for me, a banner year as far as my acquisition of new guitars. 

That being said,  I visited a shop  in downtown Everette on the way home. "Tommy's"  Not a huge shop, but man is it great! and maybe just a small feel of elitism in the air LOL, but the guys were very cool.

Well in my edge preference of keeping to a sub $400 price range, I found a used DEAN semi-hollow body with diamond type cut-outs that I do believe is my new GAS item.  ( I want it for Skeleton Bones,, and Dave has one from Gibson so...)

I should have taken a picture as Now I cant find it on the net.  Guess Im stopping again to play with it smile and take a picture.

This is Dean's "Sarasota Series", and those sound holes are very cool ... similar to the Taylor hollow bodies. Everyone does "F-holes", it's nice to see something a bit unique now and then. Of course you know there's only two cures for G.A.S.  ... (a) bankruptcy, or (b) buy the guitar. I'd recommend the latter! big_smile

I think that is it! but not sunburst,, although that would be soo cool/  did you see a model name on it?

Sorry ... I didn't notice a model number. I just googled Dean hollow body guitars, and this was an image that seemed to match your description. Rondo do make some nice clones, don't they? And from all accounts they're reasonably well built.

If you need any advice on how to stop GAS before it becomes problematic, DON`T ASK ME.   I am the last person to come to for that. LOL
