Topic: FANTASTIC, SURREALISTIC & CRAZY

I would give anything to have a song starting like
WOMP - BOMP - A - LOOM - OP - A - WOMP - BAM - BOOM. TUTTI FRUTTI

You have to admit my beloved chordians: THIS IS A HELL OF A START of a song.
Are there other songs with such an amazing and fantastic start?

Re: FANTASTIC, SURREALISTIC & CRAZY

Janis Joplin started out some songs with her blood-curdling, spine-tingling wail and howl . . .
The sound is something between a wounded animal and a throaty cry of fulfillment.

About the womp...., they say it is a kind of replacement of a drum.
Another famous "intermezzo" was Strangers in the night, by Sinatra: doo-be-doo-be-doo. They tell that he hated this song.

No, no, the one I'm referring to begins with human voice tribal chanting. Then B.J. comes in with; " Ewe... hu- hu, ha hu- hu, Hooked on a feelin'........

I don't remember the name of the band either, but I remember the name of the singer who did the low parts for them was "Bowzer."
