Topic: Blues Man Dies

My heart is sad because "Heaven called another blues singer back home". Jeff Healy a great blues guitarist passed on today at the age of 41 due to cancer. Blind at an early age, he became
a great blues man teaching himself how to play. He wrote some great songs and was the blind guitar player in the movie "Roadhouse" He will be missed.

This is so sad. A very similar illness that took his sight has now taken his life. What a horrible loss the world of music has suffered today.........Although Jeff didn't write Angel Eyes, John Hiatt did,  Jeff made the song his own. He smoked on the guitar and had a golden voice. I feel very lucky and priviledged to have heard his gifts...................

Yeap he was a guitar great. I had the chance to see him live in 1992 and was amazed by his style.He and stevie probably have a gig tonite. I know heaven has a kickin band.I'm digging out all my Jeff Healy CD's and give a listen to.
