I've got myself that can play, and a band of people who cant really play but they claim they can, replacements needed in minnisota area thanx and right back

Why do you just have to be in one band? Play with the one your in and solicit other players to start a new band.  Playing with your current group will only benefit you with experience.  Take the good that you learn and apply it to the new band that you will start.

I was in St Pauls and stopped at a bar called Maajors. They had a 3 piece group there with no guitarist, bass,keyboard and drums. The guys were pretty good, maybe check them out if you are over that way they play there on a Tuesday. The bar is on Snelling.
