The Wasp On Her Sleeve (I remember what Pope Paul VI said)

The Wasp On Her Sleeve (I remember what Pope Paul VI said)

the wasp on your jacket sleeve
it never leaves i know
i see it waiting
waiting always looking up
as if to fly
as if to leave
i see you look down and smile
i see you breathe out a sigh of relief
looking down at the wasp on your sleeve

you caught me looking and scowled
pope paul VI said
''Anger is as a stone cast into a wasp's nest.''
and i think i understand now

i have been stung
and i cant run anymore
the sun is shining your right
but somehow that is not enough
just let it go
just let it go darling
i see you trapped in a nest of hate
so dont preach your way to me
you cant keep me attatched to your sleeve

and you caught me at a time i was figuring it out
pope paul VI said
''Everyone who got where he is had to begin where he was.''
and i think i know were i am now

we all have to let go
we all have to let go
just let go
im letting go

Ah, Sunshine,

THATS BRILLIANT !

I was plaqued by a wasp nest this year. I struggled deepely, as i didnt want to kill the queen and all her babies. Yet ,One sting from them can kill me as im allergic to them.

People Sting too !

I  also love the correlation of the Popes quotes.

He also said " Young people of Ireland I love you "
I love your writing sunshine. Ive watched you mature
through them.

Re: The Wasp On Her Sleeve (I remember what Pope Paul VI said)

ha thank's as always you give me too much praise. I admire you're work also, surely we are due an update smile

I hate them ha I always think they will sting me when ever they are near, I much prefer winter to summer.

He was a very intelligent person and is often overlooked.

Thank you for all the support and being just about the most supportive person in terms of my writing and general direction.

The song is about a girl I saw not too long ago and being obsessed with the brooches she wore specially this wasp on her jacket sleeve she seemed to have a really strong connection with it, I wished the other night before writing this that she would have told me why it meant so much. Then funnily enough she text me the other day asking how I was and eventually got on to asking if she could see me again even if as friend's ha strange!

J.
