Top Job

Just a quick bravo & thank you to all those who create, maintain & assist with the Chordie site. I have used this for some years now and love it. As for the edit button, bummer it is gone, but it really is a no-brainer to print off a song copy & doctor it with liquid paper, or even dump it into MS Word or MS Excel & re-hash it there. Fantastic job people, all the very best to you all from Sydney, here in Australia. Love your work, Ray Hughes.

Re: Top Job

Usually when I see a new post in here or about chordie it is expected to be a complaint or needing help.

What a delight it is to see a few folk like yourself to congratulate chordie and its helpers and not moan about the absence of the edit feature. ye just accept what you got and make the most of it, well done.

And welcome to chordie ( even though you have been a user for years)

Ken

ye get some that are cut out for the job and others just get by from pretending

Re: Top Job

Well I second that!  This is a fantastic site, and you're all doing an excellent job keeping it going.  I have showed the site off to several people and they were all very excited to know that it's here!  It's a great place to come ask questions, get KIND help, and find music.  I love chordie and therefore everyone that works to keep it going!  CUDOS!

I just registered and would like to post a new song that's not on the database. But I don't know how - please advise.

Hi Tom Rit
Welcome to Chordie..
Please don't post a new subject post on an old thread it probably won't be answered and is confusing..
To answer your question Chordie does not host songs but is a search engine which brings tabs and chords from the web and converts them to Chopro format. Please read the FAQ on the resources page the tab is at the top of the page for more complete answer..
If you have an original song you can post it in the "Songwriting" section if you want.
