All good advise above. Numbness is likely from the callouses forming. Tingling could be from the blisters. As for how long it'll last... that's a matter of you, your skin, how much you play, etc... etc...
Dean has a good suggestion - we do tend to fret a bit too tight when starting. More pressure isn't always the answer, sometimes it's a matter of HOW you fret, where you fret, etc.

HAVE FUN! We are often ready to move forward before our fingers are, but there's plenty of time. When you're not playing and wish you were, try to brush up a little on music theory. You'll get there soon enough, and then there will STILL be something to learn!
