YouTube in a Death Spiral?

Is it just me or has Youtube really deteriorated? For me Youtube is almost unusable any more. So many ads, increasingly difficult navigations, etc. I find myself using it less and less.

It could be I'm outside of the target audience.

No it's not just you, I have trouble and very little patience with the ads and freezes, while it does whatever it is doing. It's free so I should'nt complain.

Firefox + AdBlock Plus = No ads!

I wouldn't use the net without it.

I don't really have any problems with it. I get on, get in, and get out. I can't remember the last time I just surfed around Youtube.

Same here.
Though I have found that dropping subscriptions that no longer meet your interests clears up your youtube homepage.

The ads are irritating. They can be skipped after 5 seconds most of the time. I am always on youtube. Much easier than digging up cds to hear one song.

Re: YouTube in a Death Spiral?

I've found that Youtube was not too happy with an update Google Chrome did, but it worked fine from Explorer when I used it instead.  It seems to have been repaired now for Google Chrome as I was able to watch a few videos on it there yesterday.

I dunno...I've been with Blackberry since 2007.
Android phones are just too amazing and no one even makes apps for blackberry anymore.

But if the wife has her way I'll never get a new phone...lol.
