Zurf... I think that sounds like an excellent plan. I miss hanging w/ my guitar buddies too (and to be honest, I think my callouses are fading away. I NEED to play my guitar!).
So, what's the consensus? Tonight (Thurs 6/21) or tomorrow (Friday 6/22)?

Sat or sunday??? I dont think I am working at all except for stuff at the house, oil changes etc etc.. I also want to get a buddy from way back to join our family so ill let him know. He is a very good player. SoIllse if I can get him onto teh forum also.

looks like a state of confusion about the day and time here. I have not been able too get on here for almost two days so that may be part of the problem,but I am not involved with the skype here.

There was some hope at tonight, but MKM was going to host and her dog is about to burst with babies. So she's keeping close tabs on the doggie instead (which seems the right thing to do). I am only a maybe for Friday night, as there's some stuff I need to do with the family, but if I can kind of secretly rush them through it and get back home (yeah right, like anyone's going to listen to dear old Dad), I would LOVE to play. I will keep checking in frequently on Skype and see if anyone's about.

Wellllllll .... she didn't end up having the puppies last night. I think a dog going into labor might be like a watchpot that never boils. So, I'll be on skype tonight - FRIDAY 6/22 - to jam. If she decides to have the puppies tonight, well then I'll just mute everything and let you all watch the gruesome beauty unfold. Ha ha!
My apologies about not getting on here and updating everyone - chordie was apparently down around the time I made the decision to sit with her instead of jamming. Like I said though, I'll have it open tonight puppies or not.

It was great to jam with a few newbies tonight. Jim, Astro and Bob were a pleasure to meet and hear. We fell off from a regular Thursday / Saturday Skype thing, but I sure would like to see a regular scheduled jam start up again! They are always a blast!

I look even worse today. Spent the night sleeping on the hardwood floor in my office because I was SURE Chica would have her pups. No go, sometime after we both fell asleep the contractions subsided. However, her temperature dropped so we should have puppies sometime in the next 24 hours (according to every website out there I've read).
