It doesn't seem that long ago.  He was truely an amazing blues player.  I think I have all his music.  I never tire of SRV

'Remember it well. My Mom had made fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and peas. I sat down in the living room, turned on the CBS evening news with anchorperson Dan Rather, he broke the story. Stevie Ray was a very special, excellent person/musician ! His legacy definitely lives on....
