Topic: Ukulele Chord Variations

Hello,

Thank you Chordie for so many hours of solid good fun.

1) When viewing individual songs, I always use the drop down menu to convert the chords to ukulele.

2) I see a chord chart on the right of all the chords used in that song. When I click on them I get several variations of the chord, which I love.

3) When I go to the large chord chart: http://www.chordie.com/chords.php I do not have the option to convert to ukulele.

Is there any way I can look up a chord and it's variation without searching randomly through songs to find one that happens to have the B_Maj_7_(-9) or what have you?

Thank You for a marvelous site.

Re: Ukulele Chord Variations

You should be able to change the default setting to ukulele but that option is showing an error message at present. I have reported it and will let you know when it is fixed.

Re: Ukulele Chord Variations

This bug is now fixed and you are now able to change your default setting to ukulele.

Re: Ukulele Chord Variations

Thanks Roger - I was able to click on the Resources Tab, and scroll down to change my default instrument to ukulele.

One more question if I may:

On the "Resources" Tab, there is a link at the top called "A large chord chart" [ http://www.chordie.com/chords.php ]

That brings you to a comprehensive chord chart for 6 strings.

If I click on the first chord for example "A" - the link presents several ways to play the chord: http:// www . chordie.com/voicings.php?tuning=EADGBE&chord=A

Finally, if I replace the [EADGBE] in the address bar with [GCEA] I can see the ukulele chords.

Is there a way to see the main page http://www.chordie.com/chords.php in [GCEA] to begin with?

I only ask out of enjoying the site so much - I don't mean to be a nudge.
