A Woman Like That

Use upbeat 12 bar bluesy sound  in E -(except for chorus)  Hope you like it  !

A Woman Like That

[E] She's got deep blue eyes  and wavy long hair
An tight fittin jeans, the kind that make you stare
[A]She takes it  ‘n  she  shakes it out on the dance floor
[E] All the fellas holler out "more, more, more"
[B7]Black leather boots and a cowboy hat
[E] I sure wish I had a [ A ] woman  like  [ E ]that
[B7] [A]   [E]

[E]She grabs that microphone on Karaoke night
An angel's voice and such a lovely sight
[A] as she sings it, she brings it with her sexy eyes
[E]All the cowboys watching   go  "oh my, my"
[B7]bright lip stick and a NASCAR  patch- oh
[E] I ‘ve been lookin’ for a [ A ] woman  like  [ E ] that
Riff A E A B7 A E
[E]Her smile's  the one that makes your knees go weak
She's got a southern drawl when she speaks
[A] With skin so soft and a sun kissed  tan
[E]She's  the kinda fire that just melts a man
[B7]She likes her  beer  with  a shot of Jack
[E] I bet you’d love a [A]  woman  like [E] that

Chorus 2x
[A]Tight  jeans , soft skin , and big blue eyes
[E]Southern drawl, sun kissed tan,  oh my,  my
[A] leather boots, lipstick and a cowboy hat
[E] Why can't [A] I find   a [B7] woman like [E] that
[B7] [A]   [E]
[A]Tight  jeans , soft skin , and big blue eyes
[E]Southern drawl, sun kissed tan,  oh my,  my
[A] leather boots, lipstick and a cowboy hat
[E] I gotta  [A] I find  me a [B7] woman like [E] that
[B7] yeah I gotta get me a [A]woman like [E] that   ( Slow! )
[B7] [A]   [E]   ( real slow ! )

A B7 E

Re: A Woman Like That

Good honky-tonk song, but I need to hear how you work the Bm in...B7 sounds better for me the way I tried it.

Re: A Woman Like That

Just got a demo produced in Nashville .  It sounds (in my humble and definitetly biased opinion smile )  pretty darn good.  The company that produced it, is pitching it for me for a contract -  but I am also free to pitch it -  is anyone on chordie familiar with how to pitch to recording companies or even radio stations?

If you want to hear it, email me and I will send you an MP3 of it.
