Topic: edited chords revert to original after changing to uke

Hello all, my first post. I should have joined ages ago. I have run into a problem though. I have found a song added it to a songbook, changed a few chords and saved. I have changed the layout to uke (from guitar) and clicked on the change button. Now the problem I have is that when I open the song the newly changed chords are over the text, but the chord icons are for guitar, and when I use the drop down box to change to uke, the chord names over the text reverts to the original version (before I edited it)

I'm sure I must be doing something wrong, but I can't figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.:)

Hi Burndog and welcome to Chordie,

Unless you nip into the 'Resources' and go into the last listing 'Change settings (instrument/tuning)' to change your instrument to uke, Chordie will assume that you play guitar and give you guitar chords.

Like most women you have to explain thngs carefully to her or she does not understand lol
