I'm learning the mandolin and want some great songs.

I already play guitar and uke and am interested in songs like black soul choir etc. and Appalachian music etc..
I know that banjo is traditional but I don't have one.
Can anyone help?

Hey Monstamomma

At my bluegrass group we play a song called "Back Up and Push."   The title always leads me me momentarily to R-rated thoughts...

Anyway, it was MADE for mandolins.  It's on Youtube.

I have a friend who is a blue-grasser and plays mandolin quite well. This version of Led zeppelin's "Battle of Evermore" (by Heart) is pretty cool to play as a duet, but neither us have the vocal ability to do it proper justice:

I get chills every time I listen to this!
