Topic: guitar repair

I have GIBSON DOVE end 60ies, but unfortunately another guitar felt right on it, resulting in a little hole on the top or deck of that guitar.

HOW CAN YO FIX THIS? An official repair will be at least a 1000$
SOME IDEAS??

Aw too bad...
Can you post or send a pic?  I could fly it past my repair-guy friend and see if he has any home remedy suggestions.

Re: guitar repair

Hi Lieven,

You really need a photo of the damage to be advised properly. If you are unsure how to post one here, send me it by e-mail and I will put it up for you. If you do so, send also a picture of your Hagstrom guitar and I put that up too.

Roger

Nice to see you around again smile

Re: guitar repair

If it still plays and sounds good, leave it and think of it as a 1000 dollar lesson. If you intend to keep it. Then you won`t have to worry about value. My 59 gibson LG 2 looks like it went through a war and still plays and sounds good. It aint broke, so I wont fix it. Including holes and a crack
