Topic: Whiskey by Cera Impala

Does anyone know the chords for the bridge bit? Have also chorded this song in D and in C, but not the unusual bridge.
Any help appreciated.

The following seems to work for the verses but the bridge bit is not yet chorded:

Whiskey - Cera Impala (New Prohibition Band)

Re: Whiskey by Cera Impala

as far as i can make it out, the singer/guitarist is using a capo on 2nd frett and playing a C-Am-F-C. actual chords are D-Bm-G-D. the chord progression remains the same all the way through.

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.

Hi Phil,
Yes, that was what we got from the video clip too- except for the rather different bridge bit.  Did you listen as far as that part?  We tentatively thought it was the following but it is not as accurate as we need it to be:
           F#m                         Bm     F#m
Cuckoo, pretty bird, she has flown,
                         Bm              Em      D
Not me, honey, I got nowhere to g-o-o-o
    D                   Bm             Em        Bm
Full throttle, would you, would you, pass the bottle
                  G            A
    my way just once more

Re: Whiskey by Cera Impala

the bevvy sisters eh? so who's the transvestite playing bass?

right it's actually; (verse) D-Bm-G-D|-D-Bm-Em- A| D-Bm-G-D|-D-Bm-G-D|| including CHorus

bridge is; F#m-Bm-F#m-Bm-F#m-Bm-(cant remember how many times now...sorry) Em-A.

when you said chorus you meant bridge, that's what confused me. hope this helps.
