Topic: holiday blues

i've been on my travels again (without my guitar) and no practice for a few days before or when i returned.

i got a request from a friend to do a gig saturday, so off i went. though my voice was OK, after an hour or so i realised my fingers weren't doing what they aught. solo's i normally do just were not working! the crowd enjoyed the show and i actually got big applause for "albatross" and "Apache". several people came up after the show and said how they enjoyed the programme, so it must have been OK, but i was not happy with my performance.

i've now resolved to practice at least a half hour every day. of-course it could be my age causing my digits to seize up! any advice?

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.

Hey guys if you have to travel and need to keep limber, I have been wanting one of these!  It will pack up nicely for travel and works as an excersise tool.
