Topic: moderator, clarification please

I found the song I want on the internet, but not on chordie.  Some of the chords are there, but not all and not in the right places.  I want to edit the song in a text editor to put it into chordii format and keep it in my Chordie My Songbook.  If I have read the Read Me correctly, this is something I should not do.  Is that correct?

There isn't a way to upload a song directly to your online Chordie.com songbook.  Only songs that are already indexed by Chordie can be added to your song book.  I suggest requesting the song be added to chordie's index (under Resources, then add songs to the index) and keeping an eye open.  It does sometimes take some time for songs to be added.  Once it has been, you should then be able to edit and save online.
