Blank Chord Template

Is a blank chord template available that we can use to "create our own chords"?

Um... I don't think so.  Just draw a square and make sure you've got six lines in it.  wink

You can find blank chord sheets at justinguitar.com

Sometimes dreams should just remain dreams - once attained whats next?  Live in the "now" - a contentment of the moment - the past is gone - the future doesn't exist - all we ever really have is "now" and it's always now.

Re: Blank Chord Template

Here is a thread from the songwriting forum with a couple of links on how to do it in chordpro if you are looking to do it on your computer rather than on paper.

Re: Blank Chord Template

There's a curly brace tag format, but the syntax seems kind of bass-ackwards from normal chord notation, as the strings are numbered high-to-low, which is a pain for me:

(From the Help in edit mode)

   Define chords
   {define: chord fret s1 s2 s3 s4 s5 s6}

   Example: C# to be played like an A on 4th fret:
   {define: C# 4 1 3 3 3 1 1}

   The definition should be placed after songtitle/artist. Note that you will also need to place the chord as [C#] within the lyrics for the grids to be shown.

This should allow you to create custom chords in a song edit
