"You can shoot me but I ain't got time to bleed", I like that line, would love to hear you play this in your style. I've got several ex's that said I was worthless, and they were right!

Live in the "now" - a contentment of the moment - the past is gone - the future doesn't exist - all we ever really have is now and it's always "now".

Grah1, interesting. Deep things going on here. I like it, I like it when writers get deep into the story they tell.
Things like this get into our mind and sometimes it has to be told in a song. Great job. Keep writing.

Thanks  guys  I  woke  up  this morning  with  this  in my  head  and  had  to  get  it  down , I'll do  an acoustic rendition of  it  as  soon as  I  can , most  of  my  songs  can be  played  either  electric  or  acoustic ,but   I  think  I'll  explore  the  acoustic version of  this as I  have  an idea  for  a vid to  go  with it .
