Topic: THIS Is What Happens When I'm Left Alone

....... for too long: I start writing weird stuff.....
=================================================================================

One from my memoirs....

When I was just a little shaver, my Dad realized I had some talent in the realm of music, so he bought me a violin. Only he called it a "fiddle". He liked Bluegrass and wanted his oldest son to play that "Hee-Haw !" music in the worst way.

Which is what I ended up doing. smile

I did my best, but unfortunately every time I drew the bow across the strings it sounded like someone trying his best to pass a football. Know what I mean?

Okay, enough "back story". Here's how it all ended:

I never did learn how to play the "violin" or the "fiddle".

So my Dad called me an "Infiddle". smile

Was that one worth waiting for. my friends?

Re: THIS Is What Happens When I'm Left Alone

Thank you, my friend. I probably wouldn't last 10 seconds on The Gong Show, but my friends?

Even if my friends groaned like they were dying, you know that they know it came from the heart and that makes all the difference in the world.

So what am I trying to say (in a roundabout way)?

Be friends with your audience. Let them know what they are about to hear comes from your heart to theirs.

And that's 80% of what you're trying to do, right there. smile

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.
