Topic: String Cheese Incident

They are on AXS tv right now, and you all should give them a listen. A tighter bunch of musicians I haven't seen since The Allmans, Dead and Santana. Maybe let 'em entertain y'all during your Backyard Gathering. Great dance music. Here's a taste:

The rest are live concerts and this one cut is not enough to explain what I have described above.

Bill

EDITED TO ADD: The lead guitar has a tiny instrument. (No wait.... not that kind of instrument! Get your minds out of the gutter! wink )
A very small guitar and short neck. If some of you do watch the live concerts, please tell me if he hand-built that thing? I don't see a name on the headstock. I've been a fan of hand-crafted guitars ever since I learned Brian May built his own.

Thanks

Re: String Cheese Incident

I do believe that tiny guitar is actually a mandolin.

Here's the fella you're thinking of.

Re: String Cheese Incident

It doesn't have the set of double strings, 'BGD. When I saw them in concert last night on tv, he really had a small guitar with a short neck.

Bill

EDITED TO ADD: When I called his guitar a "tiny" instrument, it was only to "set up" the joke, BGD. My bad for not letting y'all know.

Re: String Cheese Incident

Yeah. Apologies, BGD. You were right and I was wrong. Sure does sound like a guitar though. Probably because of the sustained notes. Thanks for the correction!

Re: String Cheese Incident

No need to apologize. Apparently it's a custom made hybrid type situation.
