Topic: Cyclone Winston Fiji

I was talking to one of my friends about the devastation that has hit Fiji this week due to the cyclone over their.
Lots of damage homes destroyed and so on. I love his outlook onlife when he said to me. Us Fijians no matter what happens to us as long as we got a song to sing we will be alright. In times of hardship singing can help raise a person spirits. So try to keep a happy song in  your head for those hard times.

Friends like that are invaluable, Peatle, and you must be glad he's safe. Did you see much of the storm's effects in New Zealand?

You are right Tenement my friend has pearls of wisdom. Cyclone Winstone caused some humidity problems here in New Zealand  but we were well out of the path of the cyclone. Our February has been hotest on record. We are having a dry hot summer. My extended family members who live in Fiji all are ok as far as I know. Cyclone Winston is the worst one on record for Fiji winds up to 325 kilometers an hour.
