Topic: find Mule Train song

Hi
I would like to find the chords and lyrics for Mule Train. I learned it in E. I remember--workin' on a mule train, dollar dime aday.
Thx, Bob

Or is it possible you mean the Muleskinner Blues?

Dolly did this one too, a little different sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fwc1FkkWulc

Here's a link to one version of the song's chords:

Re: find Mule Train song

Hello again
I found Bill Monroe's lyrics on bluegrasslyrics.com. I think they are the original and I think are the best. I will learn this in the key of E.
Thank you for your help.

Yay!  Glad I could help!  wink  My Dad plays that song occasionally ... I've asked how he plays it.  Maybe he's got some simple strummer chords.  I'll let ya know!

Re: find Mule Train song

Wow, he was quick.  He plays it: C. F. G. G7

I believe that would be transposed to: E A B B7
Which is the same chords they are playing in the link I gave you previously.  smile  As for lyrics... I'm sure you'll have more luck online than with our help.  ha ha!  Kind of a little well known thing about my pops and I, we can NEVER remember all the lyrics!  wink  Good luck! Happy strumming!
