Topic: The Way You Say My Name

this song was inspired by the obvious love shared by Bill and Dondra. It's a little bit "Honky tonk women" at the beginning which I didn't realise till I just played it on soundcloud.

It would be great if you'd give it a listen, find it here

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.

Re: The Way You Say My Name

Our friend Phill is one of the most multi-faceted and ubiquitous people I know, and that's just through knowing him on Chordie. Heaven knows what he's like in real life.

THIS guy, maybe? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c54SvkgQ04A. smile

Taking a listen to him on SoundCloud, I continue to be amazed at what he's able to do in his studio with his voice and instrumentation. Pair him with Jim  (TIGLJK) and you've got either:

1.  A very talented musician working in tandem with a very fine video producer; or....

2.  A "Triple Whammy" consisting of a great lyricist/video producer/musician (mix and match -- your choice);

Either way, it'd be great to be able to get into a time machine and take you two back to the 80's and the early days of videos and see what happens. smile

Thank you Phill from the both of us for this great gift of music!  It's a real honor knowing you!

Re: The Way You Say My Name

thanks for the comments everyone, knowing that bill and dondra like something a little rockier and bluesish made it easier to tailor the song for their taste which is my taste too.

edit to remove idiotic spelling error
