Lyrics by Trevor Scrivens 20/12/88

I wrote these lyrics back in 1984,I had just met the mother of my children,but was also seeing another girl i had grown up with, anyway to cut along story short. I felt guilty and told her I was sleeping with this other girl,she cried n cried & that's when I wrote this for her and got it made into a song,we ended up staying together for 13 years and had 3 children,I got someone to write the melody and arrange it for me,but have long lost the score,
moving from home to home,if anyone on chordie would like to put this lyric to music i would love to hear from you.
The original was in the key of G then modulated to Ab on the chorus,But you can do it how you like.

HI Trevor, Not very often I take a stab at something of this nature. If it's is still open I wouldn't mind taking a stab at it. smile It might take me a while but I get an Elton John kinda ballad from your words.
