Topic: Autoharp

Joe (unclejoesband) suggested I record something with my new toy so here goes. The intro and first verse are just the autoharp, at the first chorus have included a second autoharp track and a fingerpicked Nashville tuned guitar track.

The song I chose to do is a 2007 original written by a very accomplished harp player, James McCormick. This is the link for the lyrics and chords if you wish to play along: http://www.chordie.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1344

Re: Autoharp

OH!  I found it!  smile  Wow.  Wow.  What an interesting instrument.  Doubling it up with your voice doubled up is a lot of melody/harmony going on with just a couple tracks.  Kind of mind blowing.  smile  Is it my imagination or is this an instrument often found in traditional Celtic music (along with flutes of course)?

Thank you for sharing this Roger.  Very neat!
