Did I miss something new here on Chordie we seem to have got a new Administrator called "Topdown"
I'm curious now.

Hi Ark.
I spend a large amount of time on-line and volunteered to help out in monitoring the forum in order to eliminate the spam that was frequently being posted. I specifically wanted to help get rid of the porn as soon as possible.

Where have all the Moderators gone (Sounds like a song here somewhere) have they all metamorphosised into Administrators
Guess its all to do about the fight against the spaminators.

Hi Ark,
Yes Per has made all the Moderators into Administrators. The reason for this is that a Moderator can only take action in the section he is asssigned to look after whereas an Administrator can take action anywhere in the Forum.
Along with the new registration system and not allowing pictures in posts he is endevouring to keep this site clean and fit for all the family to visit.

We are doing everything to make this a spam-free Christmas...:)
So far I am very pleased with the effect of the new registration system. No spam the last days.
I did add Topdown to the admin-list the same day as I rewrote the registration. He is very eager to zap his first spammer. There is reason to believe the next spammer will be zapped a bit harder than what is usual.. I would definitely not like to be in the shoes of this bastard....;)
