Topic: what is the most PREFERRED acoustic guitar

I just wanted to know what other people think about acoustic guitars. I own the so called top guitars, from top brands, like Martin, I have 7 Martins and the top I own is a HD-28 and a D-45V. Let's talk about Gibson, a hummingbird, a dove and an unbeatable SJ-200 MONTANA GOLD

But if you put your Gibson Hummingbird next to a Epiphone Hummingbird, they are made with the same wood, or am I wrong. One sais Epiphone= no difference in sound than Gibson's Hummingbird, other sais they sound exactly the same?

Is there somewhere an answer, maybe someone who has both guitars, like EPI for practising and Gibson for a gig?

Re: what is the most PREFERRED acoustic guitar

So many thinks can make a difference to how a guitar sounds. Strings for instance, makes do vary and of course after a month or so strings can sound tired. Likewise your pick, a big old Gibson black will sound different from a grey Dunlop. Oh and then of course there's your fingers....

Enjoy your guitars.
