Alexander Max Band (born June 8, 1981) is the singer in the Los Angeles band The Calling. Alex is half-Jewish and was raised Jewish.1
The band has released two albums, Camino Palmero (the album featuring the hit single "Wherever You Will Go", as well as the less popular "Adrienne", and "Could It Be Any Harder"), and Two (which features the songs "Our Lives", "Things will go my Way" and "Anything", which in the video, features his wife, actress Jennifer Sky).
His father is the low-budget horror film director Charles Band and as a kid, he hung around Demi Moore who was in his father's earlier films. His family owns a castle in Giove, Italy.
