Anastacia (born Anastacia Lyn Newkirk, on September 17, 1968) is an American pop singer-songwriter who has sold over 34 million records since the release of her debut album Not That Kind in 2000. She is noted for her powerful, raspy-sounding voice and ability to hit high notes in her chest voice.
