Bury Your Dead is a moshcore band that hails from Boston, Massachusetts and began as a side-project of metalcore band Hamartia.
They released their first album You Had Me At Hello and began touring the east coast with big names in hardcore and metal. After some shows at Hellfest and Metalfest, Victory Records took interest in the band and signed them to the label.
In June of 2004 they recorded Cover Your Tracks.
Following its release, the band has moved on from smaller shows to Ozzfest. After Ozzfest, the band went on a few tours before recording their new album, Beauty And The Breakdown, due out July 11, 2006, on Victory Records. Guitarist Slim B. had this to say about the new album (courtesy of The PRP):
