Brandi Carlile (b. June 1, 1982 in Ravensdale, Washington) is a country/western music writer and singer.
Her self-titled album was released on Columbia Records and was her first major release.
In 2004, she released an Unplugged EP that contains 5 tracks, some of which appear on her self-titled album.
Rolling Stone named her one of their "10 Artists to Watch in 2005."
Her song "What Can I Say" was featured in the hit ABC show Grey's Anatomy in Episode 2 of Season 2, "Enough Is Enough."
The acoustic version of "Tragedy" was featured on Grey's Anatomy May 5th, 2006.
