Farside was a hardcore punk band from Orange County, which started in 1989. The original members were Micheal Vogelsang (voc, git), Robert Haworth (git), Bryan Wai Ming Chu (bass) and Robert Beshear (drums). Haworth left the band in 1991 following the release of the first album Rochambeau and was replaced by Kevin Murphy. This outfit released the album Rigged which is considered a milestone in the emo-genre. The band split after their third record The Monroe Doctrine was released via Revelation Records. There is also an album around called Scrap, which consists of early recordings and demos.
Zack De La Rocha played guitar with the band early on, for a while, including on parts of the Scrap release.
