John Theodore "Teddy" Geiger II (born September 16, 1988 in Buffalo, New York) is an American singer and songwriter.
Geiger began playing piano at 6 years old, then guitar at 8. Around age 10 or 11, he wrote his first song "Try Too Hard".
First seen in national media as a finalist in VH1's "In Search of the Partridge Family", Geiger toured with Hilary Duff, serving as the opening act on the summer 2005 "Still Most Wanted Tour". His first single, "For You I Will (Confidence)", was officially released in February 2006 and is available for download. The song received positive reviews; it was called "sweetly romantic" and said to contain "sophisticated lyrics". In the song, Geiger sings that he always wants what he can't have, but he always gives it a try, even though he knows he might not get what he wants or the way he wants it to be. His debut album, Underage Thinking, was released on 21 March, 2006, and debuted and peaked at #8 in The Billboard 200 album chart.
