Paul-Alain Leclerc alias Julien Clerc (*October 4 1947 in Paris) is a French singer.
Son of a UNESCO employee and a mother from Guadeloupe, he sings many chansons by Étienne Roda-Gil. He is the brother of Gérard Leclerc, political journalist at France 2.
He was together with actress Miou-Miou who has a daughter of his, Jeanne Herry, who herself has started a career as an actress.
He became famous in France in 1969 with his French version of the musical Hair. In 2003, he was appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
