Kevin Fowler

"Kevin Fowler" is a country music singer out of Amarillo, Texas. He specializes in a sub-genre of country music known as Texas country and is known for his electrifying live shows.

At age 20, Fowler left Texas for Los Angeles, California, where he studied music at the Guitar Institute of Technology. Fowler moved back to Texas, this time settling in Austin. He started his music career in hard rock, playing in the band ''Dangerous Toys''. He then started his own southern rock band ''Thunderfoot''.

Fowler returned to his Texas roots and started a country band. They landed a weekly gig on Austin's 6th Street. He was soon packing clubs and dance halls across Texas.

His self-released album ''Beer, Bait and Ammo'' (2000) sold 30,000 copies and was played heavily on Texas radio stations, particularly the title track. His third album, ''High on the Hog'', featured Willie Nelson. A later album, ''Loose, Loud & Crazy'' (2004), was released on Equity Records, a label co-founded by Clint Black.
