"Seven Places" is a Christian Rock band founded in 2000. The band original core of Seth Gilbert on vocals, Tyler Jones on the guitar, Donnie Vizzini originally on bass, and Jeffrey Gilbert on the drums, broke up in 2005. Dave Luetkenhoelter joined the band in 2004, replacing Donnie Vizzini as bassist. Once the band broke up, Luetkenhoelter and Jeffrey Gilbert joined Kutless, filling in the positions of bassist and drummer, respectively. Seth Gilbert continues as the main songwriter/vocalist for Seven Places whish is signed to BEC Recordings.
The band members, originally from Oregon, are very ministry-minded. "Our name ís about the seven places Jesus Christ bleed from to save us from our sins, vocalist Seth explains. "His hands cover the sinful things weíve done with our hands. His feet cover the places of sin weíve walked. His back covers all the times weíve turned our back on Him, and His side, which is really from His heart, allows our hardened hearts to be softened. It ís all about His blood and the fact that weíre being covered by it at all points." Seth Gilbert continues to work in a youth ministry in Oregon.
