Skrape is a hard rock band from Orlando, Florida. Formed in the 1990's, they toured the United States and Asia extensively. During their run, Skrape released two albums with RCA records. Their debut album, New Killer America was released in 2001 with two singles ("Waste" and "Isolated") eventually hitting the airwaves across America. Skrape toured with the likes of Pantera, Slayer, and Morbid Angel in support of the album. Their sophmore album, Up the Dose, was released in 2004. Several months after releasing the record, Skrape disbanded. No explanation is given for the breakup but the members still remain friends.
Later that year, drummer Will Hunt became a member of Dark New Day with fellow members of Doubledrive, Stereomud, and others; a few of whom he knew prior to his stint in Skrape. Bassist Brian "Brix" Milner went on to join Chicago metal band dope, and singer Billy Keeton has continued to pursue his musical career with various projects, such as the highly anticipated but short-lived Blessed in Black with former members of Nothingface. Currently, Keeton does vocals for local Florida cover-band Money Shot when he is not working with former members of Primer 55 Bobby Burns (Soulfly) and Kobie Jackson. Formerly titled Paris is Burning, the three have named the project King Street.
