The Mascara Story were a young post-hardcore band from Ireland. Their slight fame was short-lived, after winning the chance to play at Download Festival 2005, and breaking up shortly after. Their first single 'This Is Not A Bruise' was recorded and produced by Pedro Ferreira (Tokyo Dragons, The Darkness) and was aired on Kerrang! TV for a brief period.
