Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse (born 14 September 1983 in Enfield, Middlesex, United Kingdom) is a jazz singer.

Her debut album, Frank, was launched in 2003 and entered the upper levels of the UK album chart in 2004 when it was nominated for Brit Awards in the categories of "British Female Solo Artist" and "British Urban Act". Later in 2004 the album made the short list for the Mercury Music Prize.

Amy Winehouse is releasing her sophomore album in the Autumn of 2006 with single releases in summer. Demonstration tracks such as 'Wake Up Alone' and 'Rehab' have appeared on Mark Ronson's New York radio show on East Village Radio.
